The 18-hole Assoufid Marrakech golf course offers golfers a varied and stimulating challenge in a hilly desert landscape dotted with cacti, palms and olive trees. Assoufid Golf Club recently received the ‘Certificate of Excellence 2014’ award from the website TripAdvisor, given to businesses that achieve an overall rating of at least four out of five based on reviews posted by its visitors on the website. The golf course continues to win critical acclaim, and was voted ‘Best New Golf Course in Africa 2014’ at the inaugural World Golf Awards. Marrakech was also named ‘Golf Destination of the Year 2015 for Africa and the Gulf States’ by IAGTO, the International Association of Golf Tour Operators.
